Sixto A Barrera

Sixto A. Barrera 1928 – 2009 Sixto A. Barrera was born May 18, 1928 in Laredo, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He passed away quietly at his home on July 7, 2009 after a year’s struggle with a brain tumor. Sixto is survived by his wife, Beverly, 14 children, 57 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren and 10 siblings. There will be a viewing on Sunday July 12th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. A second viewing will be held at the Rowland Way Chapel in Centerville on Monday, July 13th 9:45-10:45 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. Sixto will be buried at the Bothwell Cemetery east of Tremonton at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Huntsman Cancer Institute/U of U Hospital.
