Somsong Karolewski “Sam”
CLINTON – Somsong Karolewski “Sam,” passed away February 25, 2017 at her home peacefully. She fought a valiant battle with cancer over the last three years.
She was born in Nakhon Sawan Thailand the daughter of Taken and Saran Immak.
Sam married Bill Karolewski on January 24, 1985 in Tucson, Arizona.
She traveled the world and loved Thailand where she was born and raised. Sam loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She cared for family and loved bringing everyone together. Sam also loved nature, you could often find her outside in her gardens. She loved animals and would bring them home to care for. Sam was a kind and compassionate person to all she came in contact with. She always accepted everyone with open arms and was there to listen when needed. She was selfless and caring, never giving up on those who were in need of help and love. She never gave up when faced with too much tribulation. Her strength to help others is admired by all who knew and loved her.
Leaving behind are her husband William “Bill,” daughters, Fawn, Teresa (Andrew), Jenna (Josh), Twelve grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and her parrot, Neon.
Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Friends may visit family Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
