Sophia Lower

May 21, 1999 — April 10, 2022

Layton

Sophia was born in Layton, Utah to parents Nina and Mitchel Lower. She graduated from Northridge High School class of 2018. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Sophia was our bold ray of sunshine, always quick with a compliment and finding the beauty in everyone. She was fiercely independent, fearless, and made an impression on everyone who knew her. She was an easy friend to make as her love was unconditional, Sophia always wanted those around her to feel accepted and included no matter what.

Sophia was always so curious and open minded, which gave her the special skill of being able to engage in the most intellectual conversations.

Sophia was vivacious and one-of-a-kind. She always talked about opening a roadside fruit stand and traveling the world, never wanting to be tied down. Being around her was always fun as she laughed easily and had a way of finding the joy in the ordinary.

The loss of her brightness is a tragedy for the loved ones she leaves behind, but her wild spirit couldn’t be tamed anymore. We hope she’s now able to roam as unabashed and free as she was always meant to.

Proceeded in death by her grandparents William and Lylle Lower and her father Mitchel Lower. We hope she finds peace and happiness in their arms after being apart for so long.

She leaves behind her mother Nina Lower, sister Veronica (Jaden) Bair, and nephews Mitchel and Silas Bair, and grandmother Rosalba Flores. And many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
