Spencer Stephen Clark
NORTH OGDEN a" Spencer Stephen Clark, 33, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at McKay-Dee Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. He overcame many obstacles in his too short life, but couldn''t win against this recent critical illness.
He was born March 27, 1978, to Francis Stephen Clark and Joanne Heiner in Ogden, Utah. He was a lifelong resident of North Ogden where he attended Weber County schools. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
In September of 1999, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with many challenges in his life. With his stubborn determination, he never let any goal seem unobtainable. One of his proudest moments was receiving his high school diploma from Washington High in July of 2005. He even spoke at the ceremony. He was loving and thoughtful a" always ready with a quick smile and a witty comment. He loved to tease. His heart was huge! He made friends and touched lives wherever he went.
When Spencer was younger, he loved soccer, karate and playing softball. Motorcycle riding was his great love until the accident. His recent enjoyment came from country music, bowling with his adored nieces and nephews, hunting and fishing whenever he could, socializing with his family and friends, watching the Utah Jazz with Mom and walking Griffy to the mailbox. He loved his dog, Griffy, and cat, Symie.
Spencer leaves behind his wonderful, loving mother Joanne; brother, Jared (Breein) Clark, Farr West; sisters, Raegan (Justin) McFarland, Farr West; Dayna Lewis, Harrisville; beloved nieces and nephews, Cole McFarland, Taylee McFarland, Paizlee McFarland, Madisen Clark, Gage Clark, Carlos Crespin, Capriece Crespin and Tavian Crespin. His also survived by grandparents, Robert T. and Betty Heiner and F. Joe and Joan Clark, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, F. Stephen Clark.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Weeks, Dr. Tadros, Landen, Dr. Gray and Jan Davis for their special care and treatment during these difficult months. Also the doctors and nurses in the McKay-Dee ER and ICU. Your kind and gentle care of both Spencer and our family made this almost bearable. A very special thank you to Jeff Spencer for making dreams-come-true for our boy.
