Spencer Cowley

Spencer Mark Cowley passed away April 15, 2016 in Layton, Utah.  He was born August 4, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Jerome and Ruth Gammon Cowley.

Spencer had many adventures growing up in California, New York, and Puerto Rico.  He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at beautiful beach in Puerto Rico.

Music and the Beatles were his passion.  Spencer was a gifted guitarist, drummer, and singer.

Making friends was his special talent and he shared his big heart with everyone.  We all loved his hearty laugh and his joking around.  Hot, spicy foods were his specialties in the kitchen.

Spencer was employed by Morgan Pavement for the past 10 years and was their hardest worker.

He will be missed dearly, but we know he is at peace, continuing to develop spiritually.

Spencer is preceded in death by his parents, his little brother, Stuart, and his daughter, Krista.

He is survived by his sisters, Jeri Smith (Bryan), Janice Mixer (Andy), special friend, Sally Pettingill, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit family Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
