Spencer W. Little
Spencer W. Little passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 peacefully at his home and was joyously reunited with his wife, Lillian, numerous family members, relatives and friends on the other side of the veil.
He was born in Pennsylvania and lived in numerous states during his lifetime.
Spencer served in the United States Air Force and had 34 successful missions as a radioman in a WWII.
On April 19, 1947 Spencer married Lillian Leslie. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while living in Santa Monica, California and were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Spencer and Lillian raised seven children and have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Unable to go to college in his youth, while living in Sacramento and working a full time job, he earned an AA degree in Business Administration from American River College and a BA degree in Social Science from California State University.
He was an active member of the church and held many callings including Branch President while in Florida. He was a faithful member, loved the gospel and gave countless hours of church service.
Spencer is survived by his children, Linda Little, Debbie Little, David (Joyce) Little, JoAnna (Rowdy) Hinchman, Cathy (Brad) Morin, Robert (Angela) Little, Thomas Little, and his sister Dorothy Driscoll.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
