Spencer Chase Salinas was surrounded by his family when he left this world on Sunday, September 2, 2007, after complications sustained in a swimming accident.
He was born October 1, 1990 in Ogden, Utah to Willie and Jeana Salinas. He lived in North Ogden and was currently attending Weber High School where he was Junior Class Vice-president.
Spencer was an amazing human being, touching the hearts of all who came to know him. He was very kind, big hearted, and always happy or as he would say, "follow your bliss". He had such a great outlook on life. He enjoyed all sports, especially soccer. He loved skateboarding, snowboarding, swimming, playing Halo and hanging out with his girlfriend, Lindsey Arnett.
He had many special friends including, Christopher Nielsen, Garret Eberle, Josh Graves, Nikki Snyder, Landon Henderson, Seth Larsen, Adam Honstein, Ryan Bingham and many, many other friends. He always had a way of making people feel warm and welcome even if they had just met him for the first time. Spencer will be truly missed by all. We couldn''t have asked for a better son.
Spencer is survived by his parents; brothers, Zach and Tyler, all of North Ogden; grandparents, Willie and Lola Salinas, Ogden; Gary and Rocio Bangert, North Ogden; and Ruby Munkel, Eagle Mountain.
We would like to give a special thanks to Shawn at McKay-Dee Hospital and the staff at Primary Children''s Hospital for all of their help and support.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8th at 11 a.m. at the Washington Heights Baptist Church, 1770 East 6200 South.
Friends and family may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., at the church.
