Spring Hubbard

Spring Day Hubbard our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend lost her long, courageous battle with Lymphoma on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. Spring was born on December 4, 1973 in Ogden, Utah to David S. Day and Yvonne Roundy Day. She was raised in Roy, Utah and graduated from Roy High School, Class of 1992. Spring married the love of her life, Shane Hubbard, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 9, 1996. Shane stood by Spring and never wavered in his unconditional love and support for her. Shane is a Sergeant with the Roy City Police Force. Spring and Shane have four beautiful children, Hayden, age 15, Hannah, age 15, Harrison, age 11 and Hattie, age 5. Spring was a strong positive influence on her children and actively involved in each of their lives. Spring attended Weber State University and worked at the Herefordshire Clinic as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Brandon Wintle. Brandon was one of her closest and dearest friends. Spring was very passionate about her job and serving others but her true passion was her family. Spring will be missed terribly by all those who knew her and most remembered for her magnetic personality and contagious laugh. Her smile lit up a room and touched everyone. Spring was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vera and Carter Roundy, Grace and Ralph Day, and a niece, Melissa Musselman. Spring is survived by her husband Shane Hubbard, her children Hayden, Hannah, Harrison, and Hattie Hubbard, her parents, David S. Day, Yvonne (Roundy) Day, her siblings Ronald Curtis Woolsey, Kristine Musselman, ShuRee Coffin and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21st at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Stake Center, 1288 West 1300 North. The family will meet with friends Monday, January 20th from 5-8 pm at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Spring will be laid to rest at the Roy City Cemetery. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made at any Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Spring Hubbard to assist with medical costs.
