Stacia Leigh Corey Holt

June 26, 1945 ~ November 6, 2015

Stacia Leigh Corey Holt, 70, passed away on November 6, 2015 in Meridian, Idaho with her family by her side. She was born on June 26, 1945 in Jackson, Mississippi to Lloyd and Betty Mumey Corey.  Stacia grew up in New Jersey and California and later settled in Utah.

She married Richard Lee Holt on November 29, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a very loving and dedicated wife. Richard passed away on March 23, 2001.

Stacia was baptized later in her life and became a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a short time in Missouri.

She loved sewing, animals, music, and dancing. She shared her love of music with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Stacia is survived by her son, Richard L. Holt Jr; daughter, Tracy (Troy) Favero; grandchildren, Krysta, Kaitlyn, Kendra, and Kagun; brother, John Corey; sisters, Vicki Fernandez and Dana Mussell.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Lloyd Jr and Richard.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
