Stanley P. Manning

Stanley P. Manning, 72, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born February 11, 1935 in West Point, Utah to John W. and Lucille Page Manning.

On June 27, 1957, Stan married Connie Davies in the Logan LDS Temple.

Stan retired from Hill Air Force Base as a hydraulic repair mechanic, presently employed at West Point Elementary, where he developed many lasting friendships.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held many positions and served in numerous callings.

He enjoyed collecting guns and coins, hunting, fishing and farming. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Stan is survived by his wife, Connie; four children, Shaun (Mindee) J. Manning, Jack (Lisa) Manning, Conn (Shawny) Manning, Stana (Jeff) Hodges, all of West Point; nine grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Cole, Kodee, Conner, Jackson, River, Gage and Kade.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dean J. Manning.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7th at 11 a.m. at the West Point 11th Ward Chapel, 4383 West 300 North.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, West Point Cemetery.
