Stanley Ray Watkins, age 84, passed away late afternoon on January 28th, 2020. Stanley was residing in La Verkin, Utah at the time of his passing.

Stanley was born to Burt Charles and Adele Jean in June of 1935.

Stanley joined the US Navy in 1954 and served our country during the Vietnam War.

In 1956, he married Shirley Ann, together they had four children, Scott, Kimm, Keith, and Kaylene.

Stanley was always most happy when he was outdoors. He loved fishing and gardening.

He developed a close bond with his coworkers during his 16 year career at Walmart. You could always see the light in his eyes when he was greeting his coworkers, even after his retirement.

Stanley is preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers, and his grandson Anthony. He is survived by his wife Shirley Watkins, his children, Scott Watkins, Kimm Hague, Keith Watkins, Kaylene Findlay, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Syracuse Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
