Stephanie Dee Loomis
March 31, 1961 ~ February 16, 2021
Stephanie Dee Loomis, age 59, of Layton, joined her Heavenly Father on February 16, 2021. She is survived by her two loving sisters, Wendy Loomis of Layton, and Charlotte Short of Scranton, PA, two nieces and multiple grandnieces and grandnephews that she adored.
Born March 31, 1961, and raised in Layton, Stephanie was the daughter of Frank E. an Sharon Adams Loomis. She proudly served her Lord as member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to a Latter-day Saint Mission in Tallahassee, Florida. She helped with compassionate service and would call to have meals taken to families. She was a thoughtful listener and companion to others in the ward. She also enjoyed knitting, rock collecting, astronomy and cooking.
Stephanie was a member of the Northern Utah PH Support Group and Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Her family thanks this group for their kindness and support as Stephanie struggled with her earthly body. She is now at peace and free from her physical constraints. She will be joining her loving family, as she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sharon Adams Loomis and her grandparents, Eva Riley Adams and I.W. “Dick” Adams. She will be forever missed by her friends and family.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
