Stephen "Steve" Gregg Hadley
Stephen "Steve" Gregg Hadley was born on January 15, 1963 to Delbert R. Hadley and Nancy J. Gardner. He died suddenly on Tuesday morning, November 15, 2011 of a heart attack.
He was born and raised in Portland, OR and graduated from Marshall High School in 1981. He joined the US Air Force on November 12, 1992 and was a veteran of Desert Storm. He served tours of duty in Okinawa, Japan; HAFB, UT; Anderson AFB Guam; and Kelly/Lackland AFB, TX. He received an honorable discharge on December 26, 1995. He worked for Wonder Bread/Hostess bakery in Ogden, UT until his death.
He met Brenda L. Bennion while stationed at HAFB and they were married on March 7, 1986. Steve was a proud father of five children: four daughters and one son. He was also like a father to his future daughter-in-law, Kim Naulty and son-in-law Michael Geeting.
Steve''s hobbies include fishing, hunting, shooting, and camping. He loved his dogs and they adored him. He was mechanically inclined. Steve was an honest, hard working man. He was a great husband and father and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Brenda and his children, Michelle (27), Matthew (24), Megan (22), and Mandy (20). Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Rachelle, and his grandmother Ruth Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted at any America First Credit Union under the memorial account of Stephen Hadley.
