SYRACUSE - Stephen Robert Pierce, 26, passed away on September 13, 2009 in Salem, Oregon after a two-year battle with leukemia. He was born April 5, 1983 to Scott and Luana Pierce.

He graduated from Bothell High School and received his certificate in welding from Clark Community College. He worked and loved welding as a trade.

Stephen is survived by parents Scott and Luana Pierce, one sister Jennifer (Robert) Green, one brother Michael Pierce, two nieces and one nephew, both grandmothers, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Funeral directors, Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary.

A celebration of Stephen''s life will be held at his parent''s home at 2022 W. 1150 S, Syracuse, Utah from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday for family and friends.

We would like to thank the Ragsdale family and his best friend Jake for opening their home and caring for our son as their own. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
