Steve P. Hart

Steve P. Hart Steve P. Hart passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born December 12, 1918 in Bountiful, Utah, the son of Steve J. and Arteamissia Porter Hart. He married the love of his life, Alta Argyle, June 24, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. Steve served in the Army Air Corps. in Guam and Saipan during World War II. He worked for Cudahy Meats as a wholesale sale representative for 44 years. Together Steve and Alta built and sold several homes in Bountiful and St. George. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Alta, in-laws Lucille Parker, Joanne Argyle, Leo and Marlene Argyle and many, many nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Arteamissia Hart, Mylitta Mailhot (Roy), Myrtle Terry (Don); three brothers Heber L. Hart (Rose), Harold Hart (Metta), Clifford Hart. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday February 15, 2011 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Friends may visit with family, Tuesday from 10:30 -11:30 am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.
