Steve Albert Osborne
On August 8, 2016 my beloved husband passed quietly at home after a long battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his family who loved him so very much. We are all devastated by our loss. We were not ready to say goodbye. Steve was very brave but was very tired of treatment.
Steve loved to skydive, hike, ski and scuba dive. He especially loved spending time with his cherished granddaughters Madison and McKinlie.
His kind thoughtful ways made it easy to love him. Steve was a very thoughtful loving husband who always put others first.
Steve was born in Portsmouth, Virginia to Patsy and Albert (Ozzie) Osborne in 1951.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, his step-children (Lindsey Hemming (Jared), Robert L. Brown, mother-in-law Joe Ann Shrum, brother Mike Osborne (Beth), nieces (Jennifer Byrd (Richard), Ashley Alexander (Doug) and Emily Stiller (Brad).
My heart is broken. Steve was not only the love of my life but also my best friend.
I know he is a peace and is probably sky diving off clouds by now.
I know he will always be with us in spirit.
Steve, you no longer have to worry about losing your wedding ring because I will always wear it around my neck, close to my heart as a reminder of our great love for one another.
A gathering of friends and family will be at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, UT between 10:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday, August 12, 2016.
