Steven (Steve) Wilde Adams

May 3, 1946 – April 16, 2015

We will all miss our beloved, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Steven (Steve) Wilde Adams, 68, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.

The world won’t be as colorful without him, as he was always cracking jokes, making people laugh and telling his tall tales.

Born on May 3, 1946 in Brigham City, Utah to Elias Bill Adams and Carma LaRue Wilde. He was the middle child and only son; he had two sisters Judeen Hughes (William) and Kathy Dyson (Harry). He was raised in Layton, UT and graduated from Davis High School. He proudly served in the US Army and National Guard, from Jan 1966 to Oct 1971. Steve attended trade school where he learned to repair office and computer equipment; which he did for 16 years. He was a UTA bus driver, he drove semi trucks, and then after he retired he found his favorite job as a Train Host on the UTA Frontrunner. Everyone on the train loved Steve and he considered them his dearest friends and his “Train Family”.

Steve enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved the beauty of being outdoors. One of his favorite things to do was to ride his Razor with his wife Judy Kay Agee.  They were married on Oct 12, 1991 and he would often tell us “I picked a good one”.  Steve loved adventure and with Judy by his side they traveled the US and made friends and memories that will forever be remembered.

He adored and loved his family; he had two daughters Brandy Rosner (Eric) and Anne Morris,  three sons Britt Adams, Brady Adams, and Josh Baker (Eileen), 18 grandchildren (with one on the way) and one great grandchild (with two more on the way).

His mother and stepfather, Carma & Gene Helmcap and his father Elias Bill Adams preceded him in death. Those that survived him will miss him and will feel his absence.

We all love you and you will forever be in our hearts!

Celebration of Life will be held on April 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, UT 84010
