STEVEN CLIFFORD WALKER

1948-2017

Steven Clifford Walker, 68, of Bountiful, Utah, returned home to his Heavenly Father on February 21, 2017. Born July 21, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA to John & Phyllis Walker and followed by his 3 sisters Jeanette (Barber,) Marjory (Alexander) and Barbara (Carroll.)

Steve served an LDS Mission in Monterrey, Mexico where he would later return and marry his forever sweetheart Hermila Urdiales. They went on to have 4 children, Bobby (LeeAnn) Walker, Tim (Jenifer) Walker, Jenny (Jared Croft) Walker and Steven Ashley Walker. He was a lifelong fisherman and sports fan and was happiest casting his fly or cheering on his kids, the Jazz, Giants and 49’ers. He headed up the Jr. Jazz program in Centerville when it was first introduced and was a beloved coach to many. He is preceded in death by his father, John, his sister, Jeanette and his son, Steven. He is survived by his loving wife, Mily, their children and 6 grandchildren as well as many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 27th, 2017 at the Bountiful 31st LDS Ward Chapel, 585 E Center Street, Bountiful, UT 84010. Friends may visit the family on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. and from 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to the service.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
