Steven James Errigo

Steven James Errigo, loving father, friend and husband was called home to heaven Monday, August 16, 2021 in SLC, UT.
Steve was born in Ogden Utah, on September 12, 1947 to Dominic Victor John Errigo and Eunice Mae Allen. He attended Clearfield High School and graduated in May 1965, then he attended Weber State University where he majored in electronics. Steve was a Navy vet and served as a sonar technician petty officer 2nd class. He was honorably discharged June 21, 1976.
At the the age of 19, Steve was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as the Elder’s Quorum President, High Priest Group Leader and as a stake missionary.
Steve met his first love, Deloris “Lori” Ann Kite and they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple June 19, 1969. Together for 35 years, they raised four beautiful children and made many happy memories.
Later in life Steve met his second love and soulmate Sandi Payne. They were married June 12, 2007 and shared 14 wonderful years together.
Steve was a man of many talents. He was very creative and loved to fix things. He enjoyed sketching, writing poetry, woodworking, listening to music and being in nature. He also loved playing cards, board games, and dominoes with his kids and cracking his funny ‘dad’ jokes.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sandi (Payne) Errigo; children, Michelle Tolbert, Virginia Errigo, Ross (Laura) Errigo and Janessa (Ryan) Martinez; grandchildren, Alex, Shalay, Jayvon, Jason, Jordan, Jaiden, Addison, Lucas, Jace and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Maliyah, Jameson, Gotham and Luna; sister, Carol Thurgood; brother, David Errigo; nieces, Danielle and Stephanie; dog, Bonnie; as well as many beloved friends.
Preceded in death by both parents; his baby daughter, Rose Ann; son-in-law, Jason Tolbert and sweet dog, Lulu.
Memorial services for Steve will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the West Point 5th Ward Chapel, 3488 West 300 North. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
