Steven Leslie Garner

Steven Leslie Garner passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the V.A. Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born December 22, 1946 to Orlin Hardy and Edith Brown Garner.

Steven served his country in the US Navy from 1966 to 1972, during the Vietnam War.

He made friends easily and touched many lives. He loved life and found great joy in his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ronald Orlin, Grant Jay and Jeffery Garner.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores, three daughters, Julie (Moises) Aranda, Janice Bueno, Tammy Walter, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four siblings, Linda (Larry) Christensen, Stuart (Brenda) Garner, Janette Monthy, Tracey (Rebecca) Garner, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family would like to thank all who cared for Steven with his medical needs.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 10th at 3 p.m. at the Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West, Hooper.

Friends and family may call on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made in Steven''s name at any Mountain America Credit Union.
