Steven Clark Macfarlane

July 23, 1949 ~ February 25, 2019

Steven Clark Macfarlane, 69, passed away on February 25, 2019. He was born on July 23, 1949 in Cedar City, Utah, the son of Clark and Betty Macfarlane. He grew up in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1967.

Steven met Kay in 1988 and they became forever partners. They were married on May 12, 1990. After they exchanged vows, the Mayor told Steven that he had became a husband, father, and grandfather all at once. He loved and cherished each one of them as though they were his own.

He loved NASCAR and went to a few races with our friend and boss, Randy Willson. He was an avid camper and hiker. He treasured all of the camping trips we had with the Skeen family and his family.

Steven is survived by his wife, Kay of Roy; daughters, Stacy (Brett) Larsen of Layton and Teresa (Eric) Rogers of Ogden; grandchildren, Leroy Jacob Fulton II, Layton; Katherine Briney, Layton ; Mya Rogers, Ogden; Myles Larsen, Ogden; Robert Larsen, Clearfield; and Cannon Rogers, Ogden; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas (Dalene), Jeffrey (Pamela), Roger, and Paul (Marsha), and Corey (Chelsea); and sister, Linda (Randy) Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Point City Bldg, 3200 West 300 North.

The family would like to thank Anna, Maryann, Ann, and Ina from Canyon Hospice for everything they have done and the countless doctors that helped him through the years.
