Steven Patrick Singley

1964-2016

Steven Patrick Singley, 51, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 in Layton, Utah.

He was born August 19, 1964 in Bountiful, Utah the son of Ferrin L and Lois Leikam Singley. He was reared and educated in Bountiful and graduated from Woods Cross High in 1982.

At the age of 21 Steven was in a car accident and lived as a quadriplegic for 30 years.

Steven enjoyed fishing, camping, motorcycles and watching movies.

He is survived by his companion, caregiver and angel, Heather Richins; parents, brother LaMont J. Singley; sisters Cheryl (Kim) Gardner, Karen Roylance, Lori Dean and Nancy (Joel) Bright.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family one hour prior to services.

Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what’s to be,

A resting place, along the road to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys, different paths along the way,

We all are meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay…

Our destination is a place far greater then we know.

For some, the journey’s quicker, for some, the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends, we’ll claim a great reward

and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord.
