Stryder Blue Jakobsen
CLEARFIELD – Stryder Blue Jakobsen passed away on November 1, 2018. He was born on November 27, 1983 in Ogden, Utah to Brent Kenneth Jakobsen and Zana Uilani Anderson. In February 2007, Stryder married Corie Ellen Burningham in Bountiful, Utah
Stryder enjoyed camping, going to concerts, working with his hands, and took pride in his job as an electrician. He loved his Mini Cooper and loved his tattoos, and spending time with family and friends. He was a gamer nerd at heart with his thousands of Magic cards.
Stryder attended school in the Layton area, graduating from Northridge High School in 2002. He attended Weber State University, and DATC receiving his Journeyman Electrician certification and license.
Stryder is survived by his wife, Corie, son, Kai David, and daughter, Stella Blue, and daughter, Ava Moxxe (mother, Eliza Bower), his mother and father, his step-father, Benjamin Anderson, his sisters, Rachel Keala Brown (Taz), and Elise Marie A. Anderson, his grandmothers, Aloha Northam and Julie Alder Anderson, an extensive family of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins that will all miss him very much. Stryder was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kristian and Julia Jakobsen, Zane Northam, and Robert Anderson.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
Private interment of Stryder’s ashes will be held at a later date.
