Sue Jean Crossley
On May 1, 2011, a beautiful spring day, our beloved wife and mother, Sue Jean Crossley, returned to her Heavenly Father.
Sue was born March 15, 1948, to Dorothy Olney O''Bray and Thomas Darrell Norris. She grew up in Logan and Salt Lake City. She married her eternal sweetheart, Richard Darrell Crossley, on November 7, 1969, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised five children, who are her pride and joy.
Sue enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching, nature, hugs, and visiting with friends, but her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. She has a deep love of our Savior, and her testimony of Him was a strength to her and her family throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard; daughters Shannon (Mark) Dewsnup and Kellie (Kevin) Bingham; sons Craig (Melissa), Luke (Jen), and Blake (Racheal); 11 grandchildren; two brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bernell Norris, and nephew Chance Martinez.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel Park LDS Ward, 125 Chapel Street, Layton. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sue Crossley Memorial Fund at any Zion''s Bank location.
We love you, and will miss you until we meet again!
