The world has lost a beautiful and amazing soul. Susan Aline Johnston Hartman, 64, passed away peacefully while enjoying camping in Idaho, on September 16, 2017.  She was born on October 10, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, to George R. and Carol L. Filter Johnston.

She married the love of her life, Rex Hartman, on December 10, 2005. They enjoyed doing everything they could do together.

Susan loved to knit and color pictures of fairies.

Susan is survived by her husband, Rex; three children, Brandy A. Cowan, Bradley Cowan, and Barbara Dixon; three grandchildren, Alexia Cowan, Zachary Baltazar, and Bennett Sumpter; and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
