Susan Hittle
Bountiful, Utah on 30th of October 2021 our mother Susan K Hittle passed away in her sleep from liver and kidney failure at Lakeview Hospital. Susan was born March 12, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lane and June Hickman. She was the oldest of four siblings: Marsha, Jeff, and Mark. She is survived by her mother, siblings, and two children Nate and Kim (Travis). As well as grandchildren who bought her so much joy.
She grew up in Bountiful and lived on Bountiful Hills Drive. She graduated from Bountiful High School in 1972. She spent the majority of her years working within the medical community. She was a Certified Pharmacy Tech at LDS Hospital for over 20 years and developed many long-lasting relationships. She finished her career as a Health Unit Coordinator at Primary Children’s Hospital.
She loved to bowl, play the piano, and travel. She was notorious for scrapbooking and taking an abundance of photographs. Most important to her was spending time with her family, especially her children, and grandchildren.
Susan was a great example of kindness and compassion. She always made sure you were taken care of with a little gift or card on each holiday and birthday. She gave what little she had because of the joy it would bring to others. She will be remembered for her laugh and smile.
She loved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her ward family. Her most memorable church callings were in the Primary and as Single Adult Coordinator. She knows death is just the beginning in the “plan of happiness”. We know that her father, Lane, had outstretched arms as he received Susan back into his care.
