Susan Ruth Huggins, 75, a resident of Kaysville, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home on April 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and community

.Born on September 1, 1949, Susan's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Her warm spirit and generous heart were evident in the countless hours she spent with those she loved. She embodied the essence of nurturing, always making time to gather loved ones around her dining table, where she would create delicious meals and memories that would last a lifetime.

Throughout her career, Susan dedicated herself to her job as a receptionist and switchboard operator of a local auto dealership in the maintenance department showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to everything she did.

A passionate crafter, Susan found immense joy in crocheting animals, often giving them away to bring smiles to others. Her talents extended beyond crochet; sewing was a magnificent outlet for her creativity. Susan crafted her own clothes, pillows, and gifts, each stitched with love and thoughtfulness. Her artistic flair was especially evident in the costumes she sewed for plays at West High School, many of which were for her son Michael. Those costumes were not merely threads of fabric but the embodiment of her love and support, forever remembered by her family and the community.

Susan was an avid lover of all cats and dogs, especially her own cats and dogs who were lifelong companions

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her beloved son Michael, and her companion pets Dio and Sadie. Susan is survived by her brother Ken.

Her absence leaves a profound emptiness for many, but her spirit will continue to live on in the laughter of family gatherings, the warmth of her crafts, and the way she showed love to everyone around her.

A special thanks is given to Taylor Thomas and Joe Murdock for always being there when Susan needed anything . Extra special thanks and love for her dear friend and care giver Tiffany Murdock for being by her side through thick and thin.
