“Together Again” Susan Crane Lott Jones OGDEN – Susan Crane Lott Jones, 56, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her home in Ogden. She was born April 12, 1953 in Ogden, a daughter of Herman Lee and Lois Joan Nelson Crane. She attended Evanston, Wyoming High School. Susan married Rick Lott on December 19, 1969. They were later divorced. She married Jay Jones December 25, 1981. Jay preceded her in death on June 9, 2008. She worked as a nursing assistant for several years. She loved her job and was completely devoted to those she took care of. She will be remembered by the many lives she touched. God made a wonderful mother A mother who never grows old He made her smile of the sunshine And He molded her heart of pure gold In her eyes He placed bright shiny stars In her cheeks fair roses you see God made a wonderful mother And He gave that dear mother to me. Susan is survived by her children, Cory (Gaylynn) Lott, Chris Jones, Jeff (Jackie) Jones, Stacey Jones, Cari (Jay) Hurd, Suzie Edwards, 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Kent Crane, Terry Crane, Gary Crane, Mike Crane and Mark Crane. Susan also leaves behind her two girls, Sassy and Mandy who will miss her dearly. Special thanks to Applegate Hospice and Dr. Frieden for their care. Also thanks to her best friend Janet for being by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
