Our beloved Miss Susan returned to her father in heaven on Monday, June 12, 2023. Susan was born on July 21, 1960, to Ann Henderson in Wytheville, Virginia and was adopted by Charles and Hazel (Sue) Neal. Susan grew up in Beckley, West Virginia and later moved to Fruit Heights, Utah in 1974.
Susan Graduated from Davis High School in 1979 and then attended Weber State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development. Susan loved working with children and worked at Northridge High School for many years teaching childhood development and overseeing the daycare.
Susan married William (Bill) Moon in March of 1982. Together they had Kyle Andrew Moon in August of 1986. Bill and Susan later divorced and she was then reunited with Dave Campos her loving companion for the last decade of her life. Susan and Dave also rescued their dog named Jeffrey, who they seen featured on the news one morning as the pet of the week and instantly got up and went to the shelter to adopt him.
Susan is survived by; Her companion Dave Campos, Her Sister Robin (Brad) Hart, Nephews; Cody (Dani) Hart, Cody and Chris Moon, Nieces; Cassidy Hart, and Sarah Moon, and her great niece Carly Jo and great nephew Cort, and Dave’s sons Harley and Miles. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Hazel, and her son Kyle Moon.
Friends may visit family Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, Utah. Graveside Services following Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Farmington City Cemetery, 130 N. Main St. Farmington, Utah.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life following the services at 1:00 pm at Hyatt Place Station Park, 222 N Un Ave, Farmington, Utah. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Susan to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 4578 South Highland Dr. #300 Salt Lake City, Utah 84117.
