Susan Gail Larsen Parker, 68, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on February 7, 2016.

Susan was born in Logan on Wednesday, March 12, 1947, the eldest child of Glen and Elaine Larsen. She graduated from Burley High School in 1965 and subsequently obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Brigham Young University in 1969. She went to work for the Department of Human Services in 1969 and enjoyed a long, interesting, and active career retiring in 2000 after 31 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served a mission in the Indiana, Indianapolis Mission. She also served as a visiting teacher, gospel doctrine teacher, counselor in two Ward Relief Society Presidencies, a counselor in a Stake Relief Society Presidency, Relief Society teacher, and as a church service missionary in the Intellectual Property Office of the Church.

Susan married, for the one and only time, the great love of her life, Charles Cook Parker, on Wednesday, February 7, 1996, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Susan is survived by two sisters, Becky Hunsaker (Bruce) of Burley, ID and Vickie Thalman (Jay) of Ogden, Utah; four nieces: Heidi Larsen (Jacob) of Burley, ID; Hollie Draney (Jason) of Syracuse, UT; Katy Caldwell (Jeff) of Ammon, ID; Heather Susan Hurd (Steve) of Far West, UT; two nephews, Robert Bruce Hunsaker (Lyndsay) of Charleston, WV, Cody Glen Carter (Jocelyn), West Point, UT; and those 23 children she always thought of as her “grandchildren,” Samantha, Savannah, Ryker, Skyler, Summer, Sadie, Sawyer, Taylor, Dylan, Devin, Trey, Paige, Aidann, Ella, Cohen, Canyon, Kennedy, Kerrigan, Charles, Katelyn, William, Elaina Susan, and Glen W. Zeppelin.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Charles.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Kaysville 7th Ward, 331 S. 50 West. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, February 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N Main and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Rd.
