Susan Bodily Taylor

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Susan Bodily Taylor, 66, passed away on August 31, 2013, after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.

She was born on August 3, 1947 in Ogden to Robert and Lucille Poll Bodily. She grew up living in Roy and graduated from Weber High School, later living in Taylor and Ogden.

Susan married Jerry Beech and they later divorced. She then married Bruce Taylor and they later divorced.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many various positions over the years, including organist, chorister, and working with the Primary children. She was passionate about music and always enjoyed playing the piano, organ, singing, and listening to music whenever she could. She also enjoyed the outdoors, and loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. She dearly loved all animals, especially cats.

Susan is survived by her children, Joel Taylor and Debra (Max) Blair; parents, Robert and Lucille; brother, Robert (Leisa) Bodily; and sisters, Colleen (David) Clay and Julianne (Paul) Gibby; and grandson, Jace.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will meet with friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
