Suzan Johnson

Suzan Elaine Udink Johnson, age 64, passed away July 9, 2016 at her home from a carcinoid tumor.

She was born March 11, 1952 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Richard Duane Udell and Hazel Roberta Powell.  She was the oldest of three children.

Suzan graduated from Roy High School in 1970.

Suzan married Stanley John Racker March 12, 1971.  She married Val B. Johnson on December 16, 1989.

She had worked at Humana Hospital and Legacy Healthcare.

Suzan was an active member of the South Weber 4th Ward.  She served in Primary, Young Women’s, and Relief Society.  Suzan loved the young women and loved serving the Lord.

She loved playing with grandkids, spending time with her children and family, gardening, shopping, baking and traveling.

Surviving are her husband Val B. Johnson M.D., South Weber; children, Jake (Kresta) Racker, Dana Point, CA; Carl (Shae) Racker, Ogden; Brad Racker, Huntington Beach, CA; Abby (Kenny) Gertge, Layton; step-children, Jennifer (Wayne) Lamoreaux, Erik Johnson, Jamie (Derek) Mihlfeith, grandchildren,  Brooke and Bryce Racker, Ethan Racker, Kenadee and Will Gertge, siblings, Richard Uday, Salt Lake City; and Michael Udink, Ogden.

Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Whitney Gertge.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the South Weber Stake Center, 7989 So. 2250 E., South Weber.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
