Suzan Gayle Zamora Romero

Suzan was called home to our Heavenly Father on Friday, July 4, 2008. She passed away in her sleep.

She was born May 29, 1959 in Gridley, California. She was 49.

Suzan moved to Utah in 1975 when her father was stationed at H.A.F.B. She loved the outdoors, swimming, baseball and doing crafts. Suzan had a special love for her cat.

She was a CNA at South Davis Hospital for three years.

Suzan had a special love for her family and her husband Russell Romero whom she married on July 16, 1999.

She is survived by her husband Russell Romero, one son, Steven Jamie Mehaffey, Ogden; one step-son, Shawn Romero, Layton; two grandchildren and one on the way, two brothers, Robbie (Tray) Zamora, Layton; Donnie (Kathie) Zamora, Roy; two sisters, Cheryl Brown, Aspen, WY; Theresa Baker, Layton; and a very special niece, Cassie Baker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dixie Zamora.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to offset funeral expenses.
