Sylvia Diane Obray Bonds “Diane”, 76, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Rocky Mountain Care Center.

She was born January 13, 1938 in Avon, Utah, to Sylvia Victoria Forsberg and Joseph Raymon “Ray” Obray, the second of four children. She graduated from South Cache High School in 1956. She lived in Avon, Paradise, Ogden and finally in Roy for the last 45 years.

In 1974, Diane married Stanley Bonds. They later divorced.

She retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1976. She spent her retired years doing things she loved; crafting, reading, playing on her computer and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her children, Susan (Steve) Hale, and Michael Bonds (Suzie Moore), her sister, Rayna (Hal) Lundberg, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doreen Johnson, brother Chris Obray, great-granddaughter Nevaeh Eilander, one nephew and one niece.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Paradise Cemetery, 900 East River Heights Blvd. The family will meet with friends Monday, November 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
