Tamara Cheshire Cox

Tamara Cheshire Cox, 44, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her home after battling cancer for three years and two months.

She was born August 15, 1975 in Sunset, Utah to Lester C. and Esther Cheshire.

Tamara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many wonderful friends in her Roy 1st Ward.

She graduated from Emery High School and married Kevin Rasmussen. Together they had a daughter, Kortney Rasmussen and later divorced. On August 3, 1998, Tamara married Jayson Cox. Their marriage was later sealed in the Seattle Washington Temple on November 17, 1999. Jayson and Tamara have Tiffany, Zaydon, Daxton and three grandsons, Kyson, Asher and Colton.

Tamara is survived by her husband, Jayson, daughters, Kortney (Adam) Murdock, Tiffany (Jaden) Lomeli, sons, Zayden and Daxton; Jayson’s parents, Ervin and Chris Cox, of Toquerville and their families; sister, Heidi (Robert) Lowrey, Moab; and two brothers, Shawn (Misty) Cheshire, Brigham City; Nathan (Sara) Cheshire, Layton; four nephews, three nieces and her grandmother, Lillian Bradbury, Brigham City.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Roy 1st Ward, 5850 South 2575 West. The family will meet with friends one hour prior, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
