Tammy Rasco, passed away on October 3, 2024, after a valiant fight against cancer that commenced with cervical cancer. She was born on August 23, 1957, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Lucille Sharp and Joseph Fage. Tammy graduated from Morgan High School, Class of 1975, and furthered her education by obtaining her associate’s degree.
She married Robert Hansen, together they had two boys, they later divorced. She later married Gryf Rasco, they later divorced.
Tammy had a dedicated career in banking, where she served as a loan officer at Alaska USA Credit Union and Elevate Credit Union. She approached each day with commitment and diligence, earning the admiration and affection of colleagues and clients alike.
Throughout her life she lived in Utah, California, Belgium, Hawaii, and Alaska. She enjoyed traveling, especially while in Europe where she visited Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark, France, and the Netherlands.
She greatly enjoyed crocheting and sewing, in which she engaged in creating pieces that would warm hearts and homes. Her love for music, particularly for classic rock and country music, like the timeless tunes of Willie Nelson, accompanied her through life's ups and downs, providing a soundtrack to her enduring spirit.
At the core of Tammy's life was her family, whom she cherished above all else. They were her greatest treasures and her source of joy.
She embodied the essence of resilience and positivity throughout her journey, inspiring all who knew her. Tammy's unwavering spirit remained intact, even in the face of adversity of the cancer. Always demonstrating a profound strength that resonated deeply with those around her.
Tammy Rasco leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication, remembered fondly by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness will be celebrated and cherished.
Tammy is survived by her two sons, Jared Hansen and Brandon (Ali) Hansen; three grandchildren, Dechland, Dahlia, and Severn Hansen; her sister, Jodee (Gary) Keyes; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Fage and Lucille Sharp Cook and brother, Rodney Fage.
Friends may visit with family on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 5 to 6 p.m. with Time of Sharing of Memories at 6 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd.
Interment will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. and Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
