Tamara (“Tami”) Lynn, Bright Silvester

1959 ~ 2021

Our wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Tami Lynn Silvester, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Tami, born October 27, 1959, was the second to youngest child of Anna Mae Bright, and Laron Donald. Tami married the love of her life, Mark Silvester on July 1, and they were able to spend a beautiful 43 years together.

In life, Tami excelled at almost everything she put her mind to and she was a woman of many talents and passions.  She loved acting, singing, improvisation and writing screen plays.  She even wrote a play called “Devils and Angels” that was directed by Mark and performed in live theater.  She was well known for planning the most amazing parties.  She was an amazingly strong mother and wife, the rock that held our family together for so many years.  She will be missed very much by all that survive her.

Tami is survived by her husband, Mark and their children, Cari (Jeff) Stott, Christopher Silvester, and Brant (Tina) Silvester.  Their grandchildren, Kennedy, Kelden, and Alice Silvester; Teig, Keira, and Zoe Johansen.  Her sisters, Beverly Smedley, Mindy Harris and her brother, Rob Bright, as well as numerous friends, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lonnie Bright.

We invite friends and family to her celebration of life to be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 15, 2021.  The location will be The Garden Center Building (1602 E 2100 S, Salt Lake, UT 84106).
