Tamera Jensen DeVoe

August 17, 1940 ~ October 17, 2016

ROY – Tamera Jensen DeVoe, 76, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at the home of her daughter of leukemia.  She was born on August 17, 1940 in Emery, Utah to Firrel and Ilean Jensen.

She married Robert Wayne DeVoe on May 25, 1962 in Ogden.  He passed away on July 2, 1993.

Tamera was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 11th Ward.

She worked in Davis County School lunch program for 30 years.

Tamera is survived by her daughter, Robin (Carter) Scott; her grandsons, Travis Kent (Arika) Higley and Dylan Wayne Higley; two great-grandsons; and siblings, Boyd, Cleavon, Gary, Ellen, Charlene, and Jean Jenkins.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
