Tammy Lee Biesecker

July 21, 1965 — February 7, 2024

Tammy Lee Biesecker, 58 of Layton, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on February 7, 2024.

Tammy was born in Ogden, UT, on July 21, 1965, to Dennis Sr. and Sharon Cook and graduated from Clearfield High School.

She grew up to be a spirited, kindhearted, adventurous, loving, and fiercely determined woman who never allowed anything to slow her down. She was very intentional with her choices and worked hard to accomplish everything she set her mind to. Even on her toughest days, she preferred to maintain a “glass half full” approach, often finding humor throughout her journey.

Tammy had an eye for interior design and wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty with home improvement projects or tending her flower beds. She adored her French bulldogs, Yoda, Zuzu, and Yoshi. She was always down for a good time either going on an adventure with her husband or enjoying a cold brew while sharing stories and laughter with her family and friends.

Her greatest legacy lies in her unwavering commitment to her children. She looked out for them, providing a nurturing environment and equipping them with the tools to thrive independently. She gave so much of herself, never seeking anything in return. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she has touched.

Tammy is survived by her husband Calvin and 2 sons, Austin (Dionna) Mestas, Joshua Harris, and 2 stepdaughters Hannah and Sophia Biesecker, and 3 grandchildren, Charlee, Wren and Joey Mestas. She is also survived by her mother Sharon Cook and her siblings Joy Marston, Dennis Jr. (Kim) Cook, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tammy is reunited with her father, Dennis Sr., who preceded her in death.
