Tamra Ann Mutti Laudato

September 18, 1947 ~ August 27, 2016

Tamra “Tammy” Ann Laudato fought a valiant battle of inoperable brain cancer.  Tammy passed away on August 27, 2016 with her family by her side.  She was born on September 18, 1947 to Donna Layne Mutti and Charles Arnold Mutti, in South Bend, Indiana.

Tammy was married to Harold Clark Laudato on June 10, 1966 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.  Recently they celebrated their 50th Anniversary with most of their family present.  Tammy and Clark have two children, Sheila Ann and Michael William.

Tammy worked for Woolworths, Smith’s Food King, Max Factor, Iomega, and as a contractor at Hill Air Force Base.  She retired from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.  Tammy was a hockey mom and enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and Canada to support the Utah State Hockey Travel Teams with her family.

Tammy volunteered during Spring Training for the Padres and Mariners at the Peoria Sports Center, Peoria, Arizona.  She loved nature, gardening, camping, and boating with her friends and family.  Tammy was an avid reader, shopper, and especially enjoyed a good garage sale or estate sale.  Her favorite place was Flaming Gorge, Utah, where she spent summers with her family, friends, and her loving dog Charlie Brown.

After retiring, she and Clark spent their time between Manila, Utah and Sun City, Arizona.  Many clubs and facilities were enjoyed in the mild-winters of Sun City.  She had great friends and neighbors in Sun City and especially enjoyed spending time with her loving Aunt Helen Accoe and best friend Mary Burt O’Leary and many other friends in Sun City.  Tammy loved entertaining her friends and family.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Harold Clark Laudato; daughter, Sheila (Mark) Mitchell, Riverside, UT; son, Michael William Laudato, West Haven, UT; brother, Arnold Charles (Debbie) Mutti, Syracuse, UT; brother-in-law, William Kent (Patsy) Laudato, Belgrade, MT; sister-in-law, Sandra Gail Anderson, Niskayuna, NY; two aunts, many cousins in Arizon, California, Indiana, and Utah as well as several nieces and nephews throughout the United States.

Tammy was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and a great-grandmother to three special little ones.  Tammy was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister.

Per Tammy’s wishes, she was cremated and the family will be having a Celebration of Life at their home in Flaming Gorge, Utah.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
