Our precious and sweet daughter, Tamree Allen passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014.  Tamree was born in Walnut Creek, California on August 24, 1981 to Gerald Earl and Marlene Garrett Allen.

Tamree was raised and lived most of her life in Danville, California.  She was a very talented athlete, excelling in soccer and was most often unbeatable in foosball.  She had a keen eye for the arts.  She embraced her height and carried herself well.  She had a great appreciation for fashion design.  She loved to cook and had become quite accomplished under the direction of her loving Mother.  Her gifts and talents reflected in all she created and did.  Tamree loved to serve her family.  She and her sister, Alicia, were inseparable in their understanding of each other’s needs and this bond was further strengthened as Tamree was like a second Mom to Alicia’s daughter, Syriah.  Tamree was a fun loving, sensitive, and caring person.  Young and old alike were attracted to the warmth of her personality and felt comfort in her presence.  While she will be greatly missed by all who knew and were close to her, she will now find peace and joy in the loving and eternal care of her Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She completed her High School degree and had attended Junior College.  She earned a certificate in Interior Design.  More recently, she had been attending school to become an Esthetician.

Tamree is survived by her parents, by her brother, Sean Gerald Allen; sisters, Candice (Jimmy) Wantland, Alicia Allen Hill, and Chelsie (Jefferson) Johnson; eight nephews and two nieces and grandparents, Marcus and Garvene Garrett.  Grandparents, Joseph W. and Ila Allen preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Shadow Ridge LDS Ward, 1401 Country Hills Drive, Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery, 700 20 ^th Street, Ogden, Utah.
