Teddy Lee Cotter CLEARFIELD – Teddy Lee Cotter, 44, peacefully passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at his home. He was born December 28, 1968 in Oakloosa County, Florida the son of Eddie and Janice Phillips Cotter. He was lovingly raised by Janice and her second husband, Melvin Lee Hagler Jr., (Chip). Teddy always referred to Chip as his dad. Teddy married Bonnie L. Krichbaum in 1992. They had one daughter Amber Lynne. They later divorced. Teddy was employed for a number of years at Walmart and enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, yard work and was a hobbyist. He was a loving giving friend to all who knew him. Surviving are his soulmate Tracy Gouger, Clearfield; daughter Amber Cotter, Layton; parents, Janice and Chip Hagler, Destin, Florida; Eddie Cotter, Georgia; two sisters, Shea Tolbert, Georgia; Tori Jackson, Mississippi; and in-laws, Marlene and Jack Gouger, Clearfield. Also survived by many extended family members. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
