Teddy Weldon Groves

Teddy Weldon Groves, 87, passed away surrounded by family on April 5, 2017.

Teddy was born on March 14, 1930 in Highway Highlands, CA; to Teddy William and Mildred Laverne Jackson.

He married the love of his life Arline Catmull on May 5, 1951.  Their vows were solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple in 1978.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base near Spokane, WA and HAFB where he retired.  He worked for A&K Railroad and Joe’s Nursery.

He is survived by his wife Arline, children, Sharon, Jan (Scott), Kevin (Michelle), nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and his son Gary.

The family would like to express thanks to his nurses Kristy and Kyle for all they did for him.

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
