Teena Dee Crofts
UINTAH – Teena Dee Waite Crofts, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed from this life very peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at her home in Uintah.
Born in Shelley, Idaho, April 30, 1948 to Garold “M” and Luetta Mae Call Waite, she grew up in the Shelley area where she was very popular and active in her church and school activities, and held many leadership positions. She graduated from Shelley High School and after graduation, worked several years as a telephone operator, earning a P.H.T. (Put Hubbie Thru) Degree from B.Y.U. She was a very accomplished dancer and played the piano and sang in her many church and school activities. She was a very talented person. She loved to work with children and was very pleased to have served as Primary President as well as many other church responsibilities. She also coached a girls softball team with success.
She was married to Douglas W. Crofts on February 14, 1969 and sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas W. Crofts, three children, Jodee (Jason) Greer, Cincinnati, OH; Pennee (John) Hundley, Ogden; Rocky D. (Stacy) Crofts, Roy; nine grandchildren, a sister, Dixie Waite, and a brother, Ted Waite, both of Idaho Falls, ID.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
