Tenny Wickham Davis

Tenny W. Davis, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 17th, 2023. She was born July 19th, 1930, in Franklin, ID to Walter and Hortense Wickham. She married Homer “Huck” Davis in Preston on April 27, 1951.

Tenny retired as a Senior Tax Examiner, and supervisor for the IRS. She was a member of the LDS Church and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship of her ward members. She adored many wonderful years playing cards with her “club girls,” and cherished the company of her family in her beloved home. Tenny treasured her time camping, snowmobiling, enjoying the cabin, and traveling with her sweetheart. She loved her precious pets, who were considered members of the family, but above all she loved her son. Tenny’s legendary charisma has left its mark on this world. Those who are lucky enough to have known and loved her, will deeply miss her.

She is survived by her son Bruce H. Davis, Layton, Ellen Maynes, Garden City; grandchildren: Darla (Paul) Batty, MacArthur (Allison) Davis, Cody (Heather) Davis, Tenny (Michael) Hanson, Zebedee (Lacy) Davis; 17 great grandchildren; sister Darlene Wood from Bountiful.

Preceded in death by Homer Davis, Joseph Wickham, Donald Wickham, Darrald Wickham, Carol Neilsen, Walter and Hortense Wickham.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
