Teresa (Terry) H. Gunn
Our wonderful, mother, sister, aunt and friend, Teresa (Terry) H. Gunn, 62, died on Saturday, February 7, 2009 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Avery, Texas on May 19, 1946 the eldest child of Hubert and Helen Wilson. She was raised in the Roy area, where she attended and graduated from Weber High School. She married Donald R. Gunn on September 10, 1966 in Riverdale, Utah. They renewed their love for each other in a rededication ceremony and then again, when their marriage was sealed in the Ogden, Utah Temple. They had one son, Robert Gunn. She dedicated her life to her son. She was his greatest support through all his years of competition in the Special Olympics. She was an active supporter of the Special Olympians, participating side by side with her son, Robert in the Summer Olympics as well as the special needs bowling league. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
She created a loving home and taught her son the Gospel of Jesus Christ through example and selfless service. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as primary teacher and as a visiting teacher and was active in the church''s genealogy department.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and is survived by her son, Robert of Clinton, Utah; her sister, Bonnie of Roy, Utah; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 9 a.m. at the Clinton 17th Ward Chapel, 3000 W. 1800 No.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
