Teressa "Tess" Alta Baird

Teressa "Tess" Alta Tanner Baird returned home to her Heavenly Father Monday evening, March 16, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. Tess passed away due to complications of a heart attack.

Tess was a fun loving lady and was always making new friendships just about everywhere she went.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony. She attended South Ogden schools and graduated from Bonneville High School. Tess worked at Sandy's foods, she also worked at the Bank of Utah in South Ogden, and as a hostess for El Matador Restaurant in Ogden. Tess loved to ski and be outdoors. She had a great love for all animals, especially cats, for which she had several.

She was very proud of her family, especially her mother and would brag about them to everyone. Tess was a great friend and would do almost anything for anyone. We will miss her smile and generous spirit. Tess is now free from all her burdens and sufferings.

Tess is survived by her mother Joyce Tanner, her brothers, Craig (Emlee) Tanner, Michael Tanner, Mark (Ashley) Tanner, Ryan (Michelle) Tanner, Randy (Janica) Tanner. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy (Allen) Warburton, Bonnie Patterson, Julie (Brian) Robbins, and Jennifer (Ryan) Beardall. Tess had many nieces and nephews who she was crazy about. Tess was preceded in death by her father Keith D. Tanner, and her husband Lon Baird.

We will miss you sweet daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend. T ill we meet again.

Graveside services will be on March 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up for her at America First Credit Union.
