Terry Ray Selander

Terry Ray Selander, 68, died Friday, October 3, 2014 in Layton, Utah from kidney failure.

He was born August 26, 1946 to Monte Ramon and Kathleen May Selander in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Terry graduated from Davis High School.  He lived in Casper, Wyoming and Davis County, Utah.

The past several years he was employed by Surgical Appliance Industries as a regional sales representative of medical supplies.  Terry loved to travel and enjoyed the opportunity his job gave him to enjoy the western United States.

Terry married and divorced.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, camping, bowling and all things John Wayne.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Tracie Coates, step-daughter, Ali Hoffman, six grandchildren whom Grampa Terry loved and adored, sisters, Nancy (Charles) Payne, Sue Ann (Jimmy) Gipson, two nieces and three nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Until we hear “Howdy ya’ll” again, Terry will remain dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
