Terry Allen Willard

LAYTON – Terry Allen Willard, 83, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at his home.

He was born July 1, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Sherman Lester and Lena Ellen Backman Willard.

Terry married Marjorie Grace Willard on August 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was a decorated Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army and later the U.S. Air Force.  He was a Past Master of Gateway Lodge #29, Scottish Rite El Kalah Shrine.  He received the HIRAM Award and also served as Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are his wife Marjorie Willard, Layton; son Jeffrey (Sally) Willard, Roy; two daughters, Patricia Summers, Janet Tracy, Clearfield; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Willard and sister Connie Daimler.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family from 10 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.
