Terry Dawn Winstead

Terry Winstead 1925-2008 Terry Dawn Mangus Winstead, 82, passed away Monday January 21, 2008 in Bountiful, Utah. Born November 8, 1925 in Winter Quarters, Utah the daughter of Nick Mangus and Clara Kandaris Mangus. Married William C. Winstead September 9, 1946 in Hernando, Mississippi. Terry was a clerk at the Salt Lake City Post Office retiring after 21 years. She was a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Dick) Grotepas; son William (Jennifer) Winstead; grandchildren Eric and Lisa Grotepas; Hawk, Elizabeth and Amelia Winstead; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Harry and Mike Mangus and four sisters, Helen Kelley, Bessie Del Priore, Dorothy Haberman, and Sophie Harvey. The family wishes to thank Heritage Place and Affinity Hospice for the wonderful care given to their mother. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call from 9:45 – 10:45 am prior to services.
